SCOTTISH WEEKENDER RETURNS IN 2024!

Join Mary Kiani & 200+ friends for a fantastic Scottish festival gathering in the stunning Glenworth Valley/Peats Ridge.  (Darkinjung country).

Bring the kids, family and friends all along for a weekend of Scottish fare, fun and flings, in this unique takeover of one of the most beautiful Central Coast scenic landscapes just 1hr and 10 mins north of Sydney by car.

Mary is planning the most delicious food from a variety of amazing Scottish cooks as well as award winning Scottish chef KAREN McPHERSON (The Turnberry Hotel Ayrshire) to prepare and deliver the best ‘BURNS SUPPER’ on the Saturday night.

A fully charged ‘Ceilidh’ Live band and caller will feature, along with  Pipes and Drums and of course live vocals by Scottish Superstar, Mary Kiani.

The event will offer so many experiences over the weekend to cater to any level of excitement, so check out the offerings and see you in the Valley in January 2024 for the second Scottish Weekender

Scottish Weekender Terms & Conditions

1ADDITIONAL CAMPSITE FEES
Please note that camp fees are not included in our rates for events, and your camp site must be booked and paid for at least 48hrs in advance of your check in date. Outside of peak periods, camp site fees are $30 per adult per night / $15 per child per night During peak periods, camp site fees are $35 per adult per night / $17.50 per child per night For camp site bookings please call Glenworth Valley on 4375 1222
2REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
If the event is cancelled in whole or in part for any other reason, including by Act Of God or act of war or industrial dispute or by any event outside the control of the Promoter then refunds shall be at the Promoter’s absolute discretion. If a refund is available, the Promoter will determine the amount of the refund which will be subject to deductions for handling fees and costs incurred. Refunds or part refunds (if available) will only be paid pursuant to a written request by, or on behalf of the Ticket Holder and if that request is accompanied by the original ticket and proof of purchase, and is presented within 60 days of the Ticket Holder being notified of the cancellation. The Promoter will not be held liable for any loss, damage or compensation as a result of the Event being cancelled, postponed, relocated or changed for any reason. If an event is cancelled due to COVID-19, the event will be rescheduled. If for any reason you can’t attend the new date, refunds will not be issued, you will be issued a credit to use for the festival the following year.
3WEATHER POLICY
The Event is an all-weather event and will continue rain, hail or shine. Please dress appropriately and bring summer clothes, sunscreen, warm clothes and wet weather gear.
4AGE RESTRICTIONS
The Event is for every one of all ages. Children up to 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
5CONDUCT AT THE EVENT
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse you entry to and/or eject you from the Event and/or Site in reasonable circumstances including without limitation: For health and safety reasons; If you behave in a manger which has or is likely to affect the enjoyment of other persons at the Event; If you use threatening, abusive or insulting words or mannerisms; If in the Promoter’s reasonable opinion you are acting under the influence of alcohol or drugs; If you fail, when required, to produce proof of identify or age; If you breach these terms and conditions; If your ticket to the Event is void. Sound systems – Sound systems are allowed and welcome on the campsite. We have to respect our neighbours so keep the noise down and respect your neighbours;
6ANIMALS
Animals are NOT allowed under any circumstances in the Site or in the campsite area.
7OWN RISK
Entry to the Event site is at the Ticket Holder’s own risk and Ticket Holders must take reasonable care to protect themselves from harm during the Event and while on the Event site. Without limiting the generality of this condition. Ticket Holders: must wear appropriate footwear and clothing at all times; must not ‘mosh’, crowd surf or stage dive; must not stray into cordoned off areas or unmarked areas; must not climb trees; must wear ear plugs if necessary.
8NO LIABILITY
The Promoter and/or Event site owner will not be liable or responsible for any injury, loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Ticket Holder whether caused by the negligence of the Promoter or that of the owner of the Event site (or any of their respective employees, contractors, or agents) or otherwise. Any such injury, loss or damage to a person or property is at the Ticket Holder’s own risk (including any hearing loss or damage caused by excessive noise). In the event of injury or illness, the Promoter is authorised, at the Ticket Holder’s own expense, to arrange medical treatment and/or emergency evacuation as required in the Promoter’s discretion. The Promoter will not be held liable for any injury, loss or damage occurring at the Festival site, so Ticket Holders are also reminded that all valuables and personal property should be kept safe and secured.
